...Firstly, as I don't have any recommendations through this service yet, I've posted a screenshot in my photos of some of the recommnedations I've received through airbnb (I can send more references as well).

I'm originally from Oxford in the UK. My professional background is in advertising and marketing. I have lived and worked internationally, including Canada, Australia, the US and the UAE

I've also taught English in the Czech Republic, and been a background actor in Hollywood. Every so often I just get bored with the 9-5 so I take myself off on a life adventure!

I'm passionate about living and working in different cities around the world, and believe there's nothing more exciting than arriving in a new country and seeing if you can make it happen!

In the US I worked for a craft brewery, Flying Dog Ales, which Hunter S. Thompson was involved with. Craft beer and craft industries in general are also one of my passions.

I would describe myself as a creative soul, and I'm currently writing a series of childrens books which turn the story of Noah's Ark on its head (I hope I'm not going to get iin trouble for that!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going to be traveling around Europe this summer on a budget and I heard great things about couchsurfing. I've used Airbnb in the past and relished the opportunity to meet local people and hear their stories.
I really like the idea of a community of travelers helping each other out and sharing stories and life experiences. I hope to be in a position soon where I can accept guests myself and show others the same hospitality I have received from others.
