Single guy living in the suburbs of DC with a big house with many bedrooms. I do the local room rentals too. It was a summer intern who told me about this website. Lately I am home more, fixing up my place etc. I generally have 1-3 female roommates here, so sometimes I have people to hang with at the house or go places etc.

I rent rooms in my house and I usually have 1+ rooms empty at anytime, so why not bring in "surfers" to my house. Plus I plan on traveling a bit soon and may end up staying with others in my travels out west or down south.

Intereses

Beyond work, I haven't had many recently. I do get out to DC clubs once a week and I do get to places within a days drive from DC to visit etc. Then there is family and meeting up with some friends of mine when our schedules are open.

Looking to pick up and travel around USA and hit all 50 states. I think at last count I was at around 35, but 10 of them was when I was a forced traveler with my parents when I was a kid. Also looking to visit some European countries as well.

Still listen to rock and roll for the most part. I hardly read any books except for trade/business related books. if a magazine or newspaper is laying around, well then I will read that!

I have been thinking about what amazing thing I have done and drawing a blank here. At least not on a grand scale to me or was so long along I forgot what it could possibly be?

I suppose I have general skills about house renovations and repairs but don't ask me to actually do it. I hire out for that back home! Before somebody told me about this site, I was planning on a cross country trip in my RV - may still do that next year (summer 2016). So I know a bit about RV headaches too.
