Overview
About Me
I'm a student at UW-Madison studying/celebrating video games. I run a business at www.thegameadvocate.com highlighting what's awesome about games. I also have an obsession for Scandinavian history! I'm a very chill guy; considerate and clean, looking to experience as much of the world as I can.
I'm not a party person and much prefer to chat over tea/delicious foods. If you're looking for someone to hit the bars with, I'm not the guy. If you just need a place to crash and relax you are welcome!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Being able to see even a slice of the amount of life going on in the world is a fantastic opportunity to learn. I love hearing and sharing stories and cultures.
Interests
I play a lot of video games from all genres. Also design software and graphics. Pretty technologically wired but love exploring the natural world just as much. Hiking and canoeing (though I'm not very good at them) are some other favorites of mine. I really just love sitting down listening and chatting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to mostly alternative rock. Guster, Cake, My Morning Jacket, Young Buffalo are some of my favorite bands. Also love folk Piedmont blues from the American south east. A bit random, but great stuff :) Not a huge movie person alone, but with friends I can get behind almost any movie. As far as books? Icelandic sagas. Stuff is hilarious.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Randomly met two folks from Israel while in Iceland, rented a car with them, and drove around the entire country while camping on an impromptu trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
I play a mean harmonica.
