Overview
About Me
Born and raised in New York City and currently living in Queens (the most ethnically diverse country in the world!). Studied engineering in school, but decided that I'd rather interact more with people than machines, so currently working as an operations analyst.
I love being outside in my spare time - hiking, exploring parks, going to the beach when the weather is nice, and of course traveling the world. As a foodie, I can pretty much be content anywhere so long as there is decent food.
Current aspirations include - finishing 17 books for 2017, traveling somewhere new every month, and finding a new way to give back to the community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend actually referred me to the Couchsurfing community, and told me that it is a great platform to meet people while traveling around the world.
I'd love to meet fellow travelers and hear their stories, experiences, and perspectives. I believe that there is something that everyone can teach anyone else, so long we keep an open mind.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything written by Malcolm Gladwell - just love the way his books challenge the way you typically think and approach situations. I have been also reading a few memoirs and autobiographies as they offer personal and different perspectives.
Enjoy a broad range of music from pop to rock to hip hop and even country at times. Huge fan of Sofar Sounds, which is a great way to learn about different artists in a completely chill setting - acoustic music over drinks (also on my list of aspirations is to attend a Sofar event globally this year).
