Overview
About Me
I'm left wing, well travelled and well read.
In my youth I was a bit of a wild child and party animal, but these days I'm a lot more chilled.
I enjoy cooking, keeping fit, walking, reading, writing and playing chess, poker and board games.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet as many fun, interesting, weird and wonderful people as possible.
I enjoy hosting people, cooking for them and if they want, showing them around the local area.
Interests
One of my biggest passions (I have quiet a few) is for cooking, and sharing good food I've made with other people is what life is all about for me. I'm equally happy to eat good food made by someone else, too!
Other interests include film, art and keeping fit.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm into Hip Hop, Motown, Seattle Grunge, Post-punk, Downtempo, Nu jazz, Trip Hop, DnB and some chilled acoustic stuff like Elliot Smith.
Some of my favourite films are Moon, Let the Right One In, Primer, Irreversible, Raw, Tangerine, Moonlight, Call Me By Your Name.
Books: The Trial, Love in the Time of Cholera, The Old Man and the Sea, The Dharma Bums, Dean Koontz for mindless escapism.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Imma give you three...

* Swam with pink dolphins in the Amazon.
* Entered Colombia illegally and got detained, finger printed and mug shotted before being allowed to leave the country.
