About Me

Humble, fun and super chill individual. Open minded, silly and goofy at times. Always up for fun and adventurous. Love the outdoor, natures, love pets especially dogs. I'm usually shy, but once I get to know you, I'll be fun individual to be around with. I don't mind movies, restaurants or bars, but I don't drink alcohol or smoking. I rather playing sports, tennis or just hiking and trailing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a OCR athlete (Obstacle Course Running) Professional Photographer, my job and hobby requires me to travel a lot. I don't mind traveling at all and discover new places and meet fun and interesting people. Staying in the hotel just super boring and too costly. When I travel for my Competition or Races, I usually gone to bed super early. Not much of a late nighter.

Interests

My main interest is to run many races as much as I can in a year. (Spartan Race)But it will cost me a lot especially with the high rate of Airliners fare and hotel. Honestly, by doing couch surfing, it'll cut the cost and I get to see and discovers new places, most importantly I get the chance to meet new faces, have friendships and pretty much everything...but who knows. I'm an open minded individual. Never a judgmental type of guy, my parents did a good job raising me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen pretty much all musics, from R&B (without foul language),Pop, Classic Country, Classic Opera and even Traditional Hymns ...depending my mood. Not much or Heavy Metals but love Classic Rock. Movies ? hhhmm....I'm more watching Food Channel, Discovery, National Geography and Animal Planet. Not a big fan of News Channel....News Channel always showing a sad news, so I'll try to avoid that. Books ? I'm more reading sports article on my tablet or magazines, not really a fan of reading book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I adopted a puppy at Miami Dade County Animal Shelter in March 2012, a Rat Terrier I named ROGER ( named after my Favorite Tennis Player, Roger Federer). I adopted him as my Birthday gift to myself. He pretty much changed my life as an individual. His unconditional love and loyalty is nothing I can find from anyone. I became a better, kinder and more responsible person. As an animal, he brought so much joy and happiness. I'm glad I can saved his life, cause he sure did saved mine.

Teach, Learn, Share

When I was mid 20's, I've done many wrong things, from making a bad decision, bad judgment, hanging out with a wrong crowd, doing the stupid things that I shouldn't be doing. The price I paid ? My family lost trust in me, totaled my car coming home from clubbing at 4 am, gone through rehabilitation, lost a good job. It was a total mess. I decided to return to my former High School volunteering as an assistant coach Track and Field, the sport I'm good at when I was a student. I returned to serve my time as part of rehabilitation. It was the best thing that ever happened to me, I fell in love with the sport all over again. So passioned just being at practice with the kids who are much younger than me. I decided to be part of the Track and Field team for few more years. In 2007, I told my parents that its time for me to leave the nest. I gained the trust from my parents again, but so sad that I have to leave them behind and especially my kids (high school athletes). I chose Miami Beach to be a great spot. I love the weather, become so athletic involve with local tennis club, competing in fitness competition and I currently rank in top 50 in U.S Spartan Race. I stop doing dumb things, quit alcohol since Jan 2010. I've gone through a rough bumpy road of life, but now, I'm in a right path and going to the right direction. I'm enjoying every moment and so great full that God has been so kind to me in many ways.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all, I thank you for reading my profile. My humble appreciate and forever grateful for your kindness to open your home and provided a place for me to stay. When I leave your house, I'm not just leaving a memory of something we can remember, but build a great relationship as friends that would last a lifetime. I can assure you that we will meet again someday soon. Another place and time perhaps.
