I'm a super laid back guy that enjoys meeting new people, learning about new cultures, and I absolutely love hearing stories (as well as telling a few of my own). My 3yr old pup loves to meet new surfers, and I love being able to socialize him with new people all the time.

I'm happy to talk about just about anything, and do just about anything. I'm always open to trying something at least once! I want to experience new things, new cultures, and make friends around the globe!

We can chat over a few beers (I love to talk about different beers as well), a glass of rum or scotch, or even a glass of red wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In a few short words: I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.

As a host: I enjoy showing people around my city, and taking them to places that the locals go. I get to hear about the wonderful adventures they have been on, and I give suggestions on places to go in Miami based on your interests!

As a surfer: I like to live and experience things like the locals do. I enjoy seeing the tourist things, but I really prefer to blend in. I feel like it's a much more rewarding experience to just blend in with the locals and you come back with some incredible stories.

Interests

I enjoy water sports (wakeboarding, surfing, anything that puts me on the water). I love to work on stuff (my boat, jet ski, truck, etc) and just learn new things in general. I like craft beer (I also enjoy red wines), and I am a sucker for good food :P

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pretty much any movie, and will listen to most music. I prefer reggae or reggae-rock (or as my friends call it, boat music)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've restored 1 boat, rebuilt the motor in another, and completely rebuilt a jet ski.

I've also brewed about 5 batches of beer (15 gallons or more), once was for an up and coming brewery!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to suggest places or take people to see things. I can suggest many places to go based on your budget, and in the evening I'm happy to explore with you or take you along to Tuesday Trivia with my friends!

Currently I am learning more about couchsurfing and backpacking around the globe from each surfer that stays with me! I love to learn about new cultures and local experiences!

I can share recipes that I have collected or shared over the years (I have some great seasonings that I can make for you!), as well as help with any technical stuff you may have going on. I'm also not afraid to get my hands dirty and work in the yard or on a motor.
