Currently moving places! sorry guys :P can't host at the moment with all the stress, and the lack of a kitchen...

I have lived in three capital cities of Europe (Amsterdam, London 4 years, Berlin 2,5 years), and have worked in the high end hospitality in all of the above. This included the very interesting job as a butler in London... yes, like Alfred of Batman ;). Many of my hobbies are based on this as well. Cooking, Dining out, Trying new dishes to eat and cocktails! I have learned a lot about other cultures in my professional life, loving to learn more and more also through traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living in 3 big cities for a longer period of time, I realized that you only get to know the real city after a year or more. This is the reason why I would love to give my tips and tricks of the city´s I have lived or live to others. It is always good to stay with a local, and broaden the travelers horizon by sharing expert experiences of places and cities. Having a more REAL experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I´d Say my favorite music does not involve a Genre. I prefer anything live with only little exceptions. It is about the event, experience and feeling of the music, who makes it or what it is does not matter, as long as it moves you in one way or another.

Movies, to many to name but here are a few of the ones I love for different reasons: The big Lebowsky, Snatch, V for vendetta, Whiplash and many, many more.

Books I am not a big reader such as my dad (our whole house is filled with books from the ceiling to the floor in practically every room; My dad read me the whole lord of the rings as a child and I am still in love with it. Also a fan of psychological thrillers. Latest book read: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Teach, Learn, Share

I´d be delighted to share my views and interests with you. Having ex-hippies as parents (the best in the world) and got my butler diploma in association with the Buckingham Palace, At your service!, having worked with celebrities, royalties etc. This two extremes (as many people think) gave me a good perspective of what I want in life: I still do not have a clue, but at least some perspective haha..

What I Can Share with Hosts

I´ll cook a great meal for you if there is time ;), share stories, experiences and laughs and perhaps a beer or a cheeky rum, straight or on the rocks.
