ABOUT ME

That I am loyal, energetic, laugh a lot, and have a thirst to experience new things and see what few have with my own eyes. I have been living in Vietnam for the last 2 years in hopes of traveling but with work this has been a huge barrier. To end that I have decided to stop working and travel South East Asia for the next few months to really live out the dream I had so many years ago! Life is an adventure and if I am not living life to the fullest then I am not fulfilling my potential. Life is short, hence my decision to "Just Do It" because I have nothing lose and everything to gain with exploring and taking risk (though I am averse to risking my health).

PHILOSOPHY

Life is Short, Just Do it! Golden Rule: Treat others in the same manner you would want to be treated. I life my life to fullfil my passion, take care of my family, and to do something meaningful with my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have attended one social gathering of CSers in HCMC! Was a fantastic dinner with many, many people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've meet some really great people through events on CS. I am still green/new to this site but I am really looking forward to meeting more people. The people I have meet so far are pretty amazing since they really seem to be of the same mentality for a strong desire to learn, socialize, and travel!

Interests

I love to dance, tryout new food, and to go watch a movie. I know movies aren't the most active things but I really enjoy a great story, presentation, and challenging ideas that question what is the meaning of life and how do you discover your true happiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in the Grand Canyon for 3 days with non-stop trekking for 15 miles each day. Was the most exhausting thing in my life and I can't make it anymore clearer why it's so life changing. The beauty of nature, the sweat on a day's hard journey, and the time to reflect on my life is surreal and profound.

The 2nd most amazing thing I ever did was skydive. Lasted all but 10 mins but felt like an eternity where I lost all weight and burden of my life. Was a very uplifting experience I hope to do again in the future.
