I love having fun and living in the moment. I am constantly looking for ways to let out my inner child and indulge in all that life has to offer, and I love to try new experiences. I want to see the world and learn as much as possible along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my favorite parts of traveling is getting to talk to the locals and truly experience the culture of an area. The best travel experiences come from taking recommendations from locals, and not from the tour books.

Interests

I love going camping with friends, as well as anything out in the sun. Living in Florida I am definitely a water lover, whether it is the beach, springs, lakes or rivers.
I am also really into cycling, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, craft beers, food, and watch too much TV :)

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds. I love local music and just sitting back and enjoying the beat, especially rock and pop.

I love reading any book that allows me to get lost in a new world and feel like I am experiencing things.

I love most movies and TV, especillay comedies or action movies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sorry, more than one: Working on a coffee farm in Costa Rica and during our time off, hiking up small mountain paths to jump off of waterfalls.
Backpacking the Landmannalaugur Trail in Iceland.
Night diving in the Florida Keys, and after looking in the water rolling over and seeing millions of stars and hearing my friend in the boat singing.
Sitting at the Trevi fountain in Rome all night and talking to locals.
Sea kayaking and island camping in the Florida Everglades for a week.
Kayaking through the canals of Copenhagen.
Backpacking the Kalalau Trail on Kauai, HI.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn as much as I can about the world, and traveling and meeting the locals is the best way to do that.

I have gone on some pretty cool (in my opinion) adventures and I want to hear about all the adventures you have been on. I'd like to think I'm good at conversation and am always interested in learning more.
