About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just moved to Sacramento, CA so trying to settle in and make new friends... and as always:

Seeing more of the world, learning as much as I can, and making lots of wonderful friends!

ABOUT ME

I'm a recent masters level graduate looking to get involved in a career in foreign affairs or international education. I'm of multi-racial descent which informs my worldview, I'm Jamaican, Indian, Syrian, Chinese, and English. I feel that my background allows me to be very receptive of and intrigued by other cultures.

I recently moved back to the USA after teaching English in to adult professionals in Taiwan (as well as learning Chinese) for two years. This was a great experience that allowed me and my students to have great cultural exchanges which broaden our horizons. Living in another country was a humbling, enlightening, and unique experience that I feel has left an indelible mark on me and I wish to broaden cross-cultural exchanges with all sorts of people in my personal/professional life.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd say I'm a rather cautious person but my curiosity is boundless. I'd like to know everything if it was possible...I try to keep my life as simple as possible. I'm an easy going guy and I think everyone should be calm and approach others with good humor and empathy.
