About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Backpacking through Southeast Asia in March-April 2008
ABOUT ME
I'm an atheist, a tango dancer, an avid reader, a curious about everything backpacker, a paleontologist, a street magician, a decent cook (not necessarily in that order)..
My goal is to travel as much as I can till I hit 60something and need a plan and a bed in order to get myself off the couch and into a plane..
We'll see..
I always enjoy having people around, and I'm very interested in learning their native customs and cooking tips..
My home is basically a youth hostel, since due to my travels I have more than a few friends who needed accomodation whenever their travels brought them to Athens..
PHILOSOPHY
patience is the road to understanding

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The God Delusion (Richard Dawkins),The Name of the Rose, White Teeth (Zadie Smith), everything by Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Ben Elton, J.R.R. Tolkien, Clive Barker, Michael Crichton, Umberto Eco, Clark A. Smith, H.P.Lovecraft, all anthropology related books...
Movies: oh so many.. To name a few: American History X, the Man from Earth, almost all documentaries, pretty much any Kevin Smith or Quentin Tarantino project etc etc...
Music: Since I studied piano for 9 years I'm very fond of classical music. I dance tango so tango music is a big part of my life. I used to be goth in my adolecence so I can easily enjoy anything from classic rock and garage to black metal and electro-gothic (!).
My all time favourite band is Nirvana.
