About Me
I'm a fairly easy-going person with an on-again off-again relationship with adventure. I enjoy meeting new people and trying new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a few friends who have had shared amazing experiences with complete strangers on couch-surfing and have walked away with life-long friends and a global network.
I travel a few times a year for work and I know the challenges of being alone in an unfamiliar place and trying to make the best of the limited time available. So I'm happy to help others enjoy Trinidad when they arrive.
I've just finished hosting my first couchsurfer and it was the perfect introduction. I'm ready to start planning my own surfing adventures. In the meantime, I'm happy to make new friends.
Interests
I enjoy a wide range of activities:
Relaxing at the beach, hiking, fiddling with electronics, playing music (I (was) a drummer but I haven't touched a drumkit in years. I still dabble in the guitar on occasion), diving, liming with friends and a good party thrown in here and there in between.
Music, Movies, and Books
Im a big fan of fantasy and historical fiction novels. The Name of the Wind is probably the most well written book I've ever read and the cineverse cycle omnibus is probably the most entertaining.
When it comes to movies I like a little bit of everything. Horror, drama, historical, you name it. Give me a good story and I'm in.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've never surfed yet. Not on a strangers couch at any rate. I seem to meet people in enough countries that I always find someone I know. But I like to think that I'm an entertaining guy, self sufficient and eager to explore. So if you do one day end up hosting me I'm sure we will have a great time!
