About Me

My name is Steven and I'm currently a young professional working in Washington, D.C. Born and raised in Philadelphia (only 2.5 hours away from DC), I've always had an affinity for city life. I work in the consulting/advising branch of a nonprofit focused on land use. Outside of work, I love to laugh, hike, dance, eat/cook food, talk about TV/movies, and talk about big ideas.

I'm really open to meeting new people and love making friends so don't be afraid to say hi!

Music, Movies, and Books

These questions are always so tough, but here's a go at it:

Music - Porter Robinson, Giraffage, Death Cab for Cutie, Frank Ocean (only if he releases his new album soon...), Run the Jewels, and more

Movies - Big Hero 6, The Departed, Social Network, Never Let Me Go, King's Speech, The Reader, and more

Books - Anything by Kazuo Ishiguro, "The Collective" by Don Lee, "Stories for the Time Being" by Ruth Ozeki, and more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got to see three games and meet athletes from around the world at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - me your dreams, your favorite type of music, a skill you want to share, something fun in the city

Learn - about the new culture, the city, and the people that live there

Share - Let me share my enthusiasm, my not too bad cooking skills, what my dreams/goals are

What I Can Share with Hosts

Interest in learning more about them! I'm excited to hear about people's stories, experiences, and where they want to go forward. I'm also really open to trying new activities or going to different types of events. I can also cook up some good Chinese/Japanese/Korean food so there's that too!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Peru, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
