ABOUT ME

I am a Specialist Performing Arts teacher with lots of energy. I'd say I am fun loving, adventurous, comical but like a deep conversation when comfortable. I also play and perform as a an actor and musician and run a studio from my house.
I try to cook but I fail a lot of the time so I just to just stick to what I know. That basically consists of raw salad. I decided to be a vegetarian a year ago so I still get haunted by the infectious blood drippings from a red steak. Don't expect restaurant quality meals although I'd give them if I could. Hey - at least it's healthy. Eat raw, stay healthy & live longer!

PHILOSOPHY

I have a lot - probably too many to list. But I will say that I believe people should be better listeners. Too many of us are living impatiently without being able to really understand another person. A lot of thee time we listen only so we can then speak - not to listen and gain new insightful knowledge or understanding

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a very busy person but I do get holidays (and aloof them being a teacher) But I would prefer a message or two (perhaps a bit of a convo) before settling on a stay. I am also away a lot so if I don't respond to your message that is probably the reason.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I own a lovely retreat - style house in Swan View Perth Western Australia. I live with two friends who I was in a band with years ago in high school. I have a music studio with a keyboard and electric drums, a huge theatre projector for epic movies and 4 bedrooms. You have the option of a couch in the lounge or if I am not using the office room (as sometimes I do for school or film editing) you can use the room

Interests

music, art, theatre, films, discussions, comedy!
I love plays and non fiction. How we got here fascinates me, why wouldn't it? It's bizarre and still unexplained. Aliens fascinate me also because they are there somewhere yet we haven't really seen them yet. Deadly creatures with high poisonous venom also interest me for some strange reason - such as snakes, spiders - also sharks.

I have over 2 thousand DVD's. Fav films include the classics - Wizard of Oz, It's a Wonderful Life, Godfather. I also adore Back to the future, Lion King and Ghost.
I love plays - my current favourite is Ruby Moon which is an Australian eclectic expressionistic play
I am a huge fan of Roald Dahl and I have written a children's story. My Dad is into fiction drama, and he has published a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have walked on Jupiter before (…………..kidding) but that would be amazing. Replace "amazing" with something slightly less flamboiyant and I won't be so intimidated by the question…:)
