About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take a step in every country in the world

ABOUT ME

I'm a Cuban-American (that's 100% Cuban, just born in the US) that somehow ended up living in Germany. I love in the beautiful but rainy northern city of Hamburg and work for a publishing house here, producing videos for a popular German magazine. I'm an adventurous guy who is up to go anywhere.

PHILOSOPHY

Borders are drawn so we can cross them, and rules are meant to be broken. Seeing the world through someone else's perspective is one of the most important things we need to experience in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am looking to surf Europe and the neighboring areas while I'm here. And if it works out I also have a couch to crash on for friendly travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a few surfers over at my place back in Miami and it was great every time. They usually all brought a little something and I made certain they had their fill of delicious Cuban food while they were over. I have also hosted people here in Hamburg and am always open to a new acquaintance.

Interests

Anything outdoors, clubbing, theater, music, a simple coffee: I am a very flexible guy and would enjoy mostly everything. Some of the best days are sitting with strangers over some bottles of wine and talking about life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Shakespeare, Leonardo DiCaprio, postmodernism, superhero movies, and any music that isn't heavy metal. That pretty much sums it up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped off waterfalls in Hawaii. Experienced Oktoberfest many days in a row. Held a Koala Bear in Australia.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I can teach: How to cook Cuban food! It's extremely easy and I love cooking for people. Also, I have a knack for random facts, and those are always fun to share.

What I want to learn: How to say the basic hello, goodbye, please and thank you in as many languages as possible. Also, I would love to learn any practical skills.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
