ABOUT ME

We are an easy-going, fun-loving couple who are obviously in love with each other. We are funny, with great senses of humor (or at least we think so) - and a great appreciation for dry wit and sarcasm. We are generous, giving people (or at least we think so). We try to be good parents, and give as much as we can to our four kids.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what's right. Be kind to animals - except the tasty ones. Be the kind of the person your dog thinks you are. Pack it in, pack it out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have been hosted, we have entertained out-of-towners for dinner, and we are expected to actually host others one day when the timing works out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our Couchsurfing experience to date has been fantastic. Great fun meeting new people, sharing experiences, etc.

Intereses

Dave's interests are music, woodcraft, auto restoration, hunting, and travel. Laurie's interests are music, scrapbooking, horses, hunting, and travel. They both enjoy good food, good wine, good beer, and good friends. They are adventurous and active (while not, perhaps, classified as athletic...) They both enjoy theater, and have each been on stage for a large fraction of their lives. They also enjoy quiet evenings of movies, board games, and just conversation.

Música, películas y libros

Scary movies, psychological thrillers, movies with a twist, campy movies. Princess Bride - cool flick. Pretty much any kind of music that is ACTUALLY music. (Rap ain't music, btw...) Elvis rocks! Books... pretty eclectic there too.

Algo increíble que he hecho

We had the opportunity to go zip lining through the jungle, which was really cool - but part of that adventure also included floating along an underground river through natural caverns. That was AMAZING! Our first cruise was pretty fantastic, and has kept us going back as often as we can afford.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

To some we can teach; from some we can learn. With all we can eat and have a nice chat. We enjoy discussing issues, debating topics, and learning other people's views and opinions. We enjoy sharing stories of adventures and experiences. Basically, we just like meeting and learning about new people - kind of why we joined Couchsurfing...
