I have been in Cape Town for three years now, but I'm still exploring the city myself.
I can make some amazing ice cream, decent spaghetti bolognese and bake a cake - that is where my cooking skills end however :)

I'm not much of a conversationalist or party goer but can give some advice on Cape Town and things to do.
I am able to help with transport (within reason), as I am home all the time now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have lived at two different places where we hosted couch surfers, and I finally have my own place with space for people to Couch surf at.

Looking to meet new people from around the world, hear some of their stories and start building a list of places I would like to visit - one day soon I hope!

The Matrix, Fast & Furious, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Star Wars, The Equalizer and all the Marvel movies to name a few.
I prefer older music from the 70's-90's but am looking expand my tastes with some foreign music.
I love fantasy books. My most reread series is The Wheel of Time. I have read Peter V. Brett, Robin Hobb, David Eddings, Jacqueline Carey, Terry Goodkind, Brent Weeks, Joe Abercrombie, Scott Lynch, and I'm still waiting for Patrick Rothfuss's third book...

I did a Contiki tour through Europe when I was younger, but unfortunately I lost my camera on one of the last days :(
