About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I had my traditional education in University but I know there is so much more learning to be done. Seeking true education through world travel and late nights with new friends

ABOUT ME

Friendly, outgoing yet contemplative 22 year old. Ordinary guy with an interesting backstory looking to grow up and learn about myself through travel. Not going to be able to give you my life story here but just know I'm a normal dude and a good guest on your couch. Not looking to freeload, looking to meet good people and make new friends. Love late nights, good music and food. Love trying new things and challenging myself

PHILOSOPHY

It's not where, but who you're with that really matters. - Dave Matthews

I believe that we are a sum of our experiences and an amalgam of all who we have met. Thus I generally enjoy any and all company because I like to borrow ideas and culture from all philosophies as I journey towards my own understanding about what I truly believe in and live for.

So much more than that this is so loaded.

Travel is so helpful to the human experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a subpar book reader and am trying to teach myself to pay attention long enough to make it through a page without going "what the hell did I just read?"
Love Robin Williams - good will hunting, dead poets society among my favorites.
Also big daddy is a classic one in my heart. Like mind fuck movies, and rom coms are great.

I love all music. Used to be a Dave Matthews Band addict in high school, 17 shows thus far. I listen to a lot of indie alternative, and I like to groove to deep house when I'm partying. If you know anything about African drumming please hit me up! I played percussion in high school and really want to jam on some crazy drums.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love those moments of intense breathtaking awe. One cool moment was hiking to Zapata falls in Colorado. We got up the river traversed this rock face and got to the fall where the sound of it crashing not he rocks was ear shattering. I remember being so overwhelmed and excited I ripped my shirt off and ran into the bottom of the fall and stood in the collapse of the water falling. I felt like I became the hulk for a second. Let out the craziest primitive scream and let pounds of water knock me silly. It began tot he thunderstorm and we made it back to the car safely to see the most intense lightning storm I've ever witnessed.

I also found a pair of oakleys in the river.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been through a harrowing journey of ups and downs during my college years, seen highs and lows that have taught me a lot and shaped me quite uniquely. Let's grab a beer and teach each other how to win the game of life through our differing experiences.

I want to learn how to whitewater kayak and a dream of mine is to kayak the largest rivers on each continent.

I can teach you water polo, it's a beautiful and exhausting sport. I play a little guitar and I'm a mean cook.
