I am originally from Reading, England but I have moved to Shanghai in China. It's a life choice rather than a career choice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used it to find a few people to show me around when I've traveled and it was always an amazing experience.

Interests

My interests include Football (I am a referee) and music (I play guitar, bass and drums). I also spend a lot of time at the moment learning Chinese and I love to watch films and listen to music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had some great experiences from my refereeing hobby - including refereeing at a premier league stadium and refereeing a match played in front of over 3,000 people in Spain.

As well as this, I have travelled to some great places including the Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, Schloss Neuschwanstein, Prague, Barcelona, Tianamenamenamen Square ... the list goes on.

Teach, Learn, Share

If anyone is in Shanghai, I can show you around and we can generally have a good time.

I am interested in improving my Chinese language skills and I guess I can return the favour by conversing in English.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am often quite busy, so sometimes, I can offer a guest a place to sleep - be aware though that the bed is in the same place as mine.

If I'm not busy, we can go and have a good time, be it having a drink or exploring. If you want to go to the typical Shanghai tourist attractions, I probably will let you do that yourself.
