About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Expanding my world, one host and one guest at a time

ABOUT ME

I'm presently sketching across Europe and scratching an 18 year itch for foreign travel. years of pent up wanderlust. It's been a while since I last did this and I'm happy not disappointed yet culturally, geographically, linguistically - orient myself to new surroundings, and that I take great interest in being an ambassador for whatever city I happen to be in. They would say I go out of my way to be welcoming and hospitable because I hope for the same treatment in return.

Once I get settled in my new apartment in the States, I'll be open to hosting again-sometime after November 2016. I'm excited to meet new people and expand my opportunities to travel and build my network of friends. I think that traveling is one of the greatest simple pleasures in life, and meeting new people who share that outlook is why I'm here.

And free accommodations are certainly incentive too :)

PHILOSOPHY

Be an ambassador. Allow other people to make favorable impressions of your hometown based on how well we treat them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I guess I participate by...hosting and travelling, right??

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted friends from Detroit, British Columbia, upstate Pennsylvania, Kansas, Ontario, Australia, and Israel and local friends for overnight stays. I've traveled and done the same at those friends' places in Detroit, West Virginia, and suburban Pittsburgh.

Interests

I love exploring and being outdoors. Running, hiking, swimming, driving, going downtown, always being on the move is where I find my comfort zone. And golf as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything cerebral, funny, intense, scary, thought-provoking is a good movie. We enjoy rock, house, atmospheric, jazz, classical, country, and hip-hop music. We get down to it all!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cliff jumping, Philly style. Road races 30,000+ people strong. High-speed cat-and-mouse games on the highway.
