We are French-Australian living in a chinese area not too far from the city. To sum up, we are a very international family with connections with various cultures and people from planet earth.... so far.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a sort of New age guy...LOL, I grew up as a Buddhist and also an epicurian... grew up in a restaurant. One of my favourite films : Babette's Feast. ... highly recommended. Dreams from Kurozawa.

my philosophy : Love and compassion and fun.
Connection can happen even between totally different and "uncompatible" characters... well at least we're all from the same planet, aren't we? = we're all one aren't we? we are the genies : your wish is my command. We are ONE with the universe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted more than 100 times than I've been hosted... so far. Well, for the moment I'm travelling through my guests. LOL. I know it is not the same but it is awesome and inspiring too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I regularly have travellers at home, they come and go and they mot of them become good friends. Always a bit sad to see them go (I'm so sentimental), but also happy and excited for them. We keep in touch on facebook, usually. I love all my couchsurfers. Even the ones I did not connect with, as we are all human beings and that is all what counts for me.

movies, music, painting, dancing, games, good food, wine, beer, interesting talks, meeting new people etc.
I love having philosophical and metaphysical conversations (often at night) over the phone or in person with like minded friends or family members ! We all have amazing stories to blow each others's minds.
I'm interested in nutrition these days, so avoiding any processed food (including white stuff like refined sugar, flour, pasta, rice..) and trying to include a maximum of raw food in my diet.

Music : very very ecclectic, depends on my mood, anything that is really good, or played with heart and spirit! ... classical, pop, rock, progressive rock, ethnic, new age, some jazz.....

I don't watch TV, but I've discovered some tv series that I really enjoyed : Sliders, Monk, Dexter, true blood, Heroes, the mentalist, the fringe...

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Everyday is amazing! But Ok : dolphins in Byron Bay!!!!!
Having babies, showing them the world. love in all of us.
More recently : saw my idol (from when I was 14 yo) for the first time at 2 concerts, met and talked briefly with him. Then saw an impersonator of my idol from before my 14 yo, then right after that got the concert-fan orgasm going to concert to see the singer of the music I was listening to when I was 16yo.... all that in one year 2013!
ps. I'm not a crowd person, I usually enjoy live music in the intimacy of a home or maximum a pub. just revisiting my childhood.

I just got engaged with a friend who was my couchsurfer 7 years ago... we became best friends and more..... and... we grew up in the same city !!! We are both totally opposite or nearly.

I do readings tarot and other cards. I'm also an Australian bush flower essence practitioner, for emotional well being. A fan of astrology and astronomy... for fun ! lol. Linguistics was my field though.
