Hi! I'm Stevie ✌🏻😁

I'm a traveling musician doing music under the name "StevieDoesLife." You can find me on Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube, etc. under that name. My self started label's name is Life House Productionz and I call my sound Punk Rap. I grew up in Charlotte, NC and was invested into the local hardcore and metal scene there. I always loved the in-your-face energy of metal shows and I bring that same energy into the rap music, especially with the live performances.

I am also a producer for several artists in the Nashville and surrounding areas. Look up "Syco Milli" on Spotify and he's one of the closest artists I work with.

I was born in Miami, FL and moved to Harrisburg, NC (closest neighborhood to the Charlotte Motor Speedway if you're into Nascar) when I was 4. At 17 I moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University. I graduated in 2015 and have been a producer and engineer since to support my own music. I travel around to shows wherever I can get in and have been sleeping in my car when I do this but I figured I'd try the whole couch surfing thing out to see how it goes!

I'm a traveling musician! I've been sleeping in my car in Walmart parking lots for a while now but I've had enough angry cops wake me up early in the morning to decide to give couch surfing a try!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like anything that has a good rhythm to it and paints a picture with the sounds. Hank Williams Sr. is probably my all time favorite song writer, Young Thug is a modern day Basquiat, Cannibal Corpse is one of my go tos when I want something stupid heavy to listen to, old Suicide Silence will always be one of my favorites, Stevie Wonder was probably one of the best concerts I've been to... I really don't have a limit on music I like, just as long as it moves me a certain way.

Movies: Ehhhhh I'm not a huge movie guy honestly. I like going out to watch movies with friends at the theater (when I have the money for it) but I don't usually like just sitting down to watch a movie at home. TV shows are dope though, I watch a ton of Netflix when I'm cooking or cleaning up around the house. My go-tos there are It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Family Guy, Archer, and other goofy shows that you don't really have to pay attention to to understand. Although Breaking Bad is probably the best show to come to TV.

Books: I'm a huge Stephen King fan. I've read a ton of his books and short stories and love getting lost in the worlds he creates. Kurt Vonnegut is dope and I used to be a huge Chuck Palahniuk fan. Haven't read as much of him recently though, I think he appealed more to high school me then current me lol

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can trade road stories with you and if you make music I'd love to jam! I always bring my cajon with me and if we end up making something dope I'll probably have my mic too so we can both walk out with something to look back on a solid jam session.
