ABOUT ME

I am on a road to find answers to questions I don't know to ask. To learn from everyone because I know that although we are all connected, we all have different perspectives, each with a lesson to teach. I live by the golden rule. I have a dog named moose who's the bomb. He loves to play any type of game until you make him stop. I pride myself on staying calm in sticky situations and can usually find a good solution to a problem. This is why I like strategy board games like Chess and Catan. I can find the light and fun in pretty much any situation, which helps me be open minded and up for anything! I love to break barriers with others or within myself, and am constantly seeking to grow and learn so I can progress and continue being the person I want to be. So come on, let's get out there and explore!

Interests

I like to be outdoors and bring my dog, Moose, anywhere possible. Hiking, backpacking, canoeing, investing, music, exploring, learning, laughing, exploring, being social, being introverted- both are crucial and balance is necessary! Meditating, focused conversations, intelligent conversations, asking questions - why? Learning through my own experiences and others, learning through failure, learning through hands on experience

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch movies often but when I do I love it and they usually end up being really long and intense like bravehart or 12 days a slave haha. I love so many kinds of music and started dj'ing on my school radio last semester, it is awesome. I love to be a part of live music too, whether listening or trying to chime in on jams with my harmonica or on a bongo. I have a record player and the collection is only growing. You really can't go wrong with a record. When I ready it's usually educational or some type of self improvement book, I am trying to become more of an active reader.
