HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently don't have a couch of my own, but look forward to hosting surfers in the future...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First and only so far was in Bordeaux. We honestly had the most amazing time surfing the couch of a group of four guys. I had previously thought couchsurfing to be just an easy alternative to finding a place to stay while travelling, but after this trip I learned how much more interesting, worthwhile and unique couchsurfing is than just staying in a hostel or hotel. We even met up with other couchsurfers and their hosts while we were in Bordeaux. I have never stumbled upon such fun people like this before! I heard some incredible stories, got great travel tips, practiced my French and formed some amazing friendships.
