About Me

I'm from Dublin, Ireland but I've lived and traveled in many parts of the world, and the Irish are well known for being a nomadic type. I pride myself on being comfortable in just about any situation I can find myself in!

As much as I am beginning to believe in some principles of living more simply, I really try not to take it all too seriously, because you become your thoughts right? So don't become too serious! Stick to your principles, but don't forget to laugh along the way.

I also have a lifelong passion for music (I used to play guitar and drums, though I don't anymore) and trying pretty much anything I haven't tried before. Life may be the longest thing you'll ever do, but it can seem a lot longer if you're not taking some chances every now and then!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just come back to Couchsurfing after many years away from it and wow, it's changed! But not too much I hope, my memories of couchsurfing are all very positive and from some of the best years of my life so far, and that's what I'm here to do; get back to the basics of meeting people and exchanging experiences. Because working the rest of my life in an office just didn't seem like fun! And quite simply, I can't get enough of exploring the world and talking to the people in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled the length of New Zealand in costume in 19 days raising NZ$13,000 for a children's charity.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you a couple things on the drums, congas, or guitar, but only if you are a beginner and easily impressed!
I'm always looking to be introduced to new music, new ways of looking at life , and tasty new craft beers.
