About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To become wise.

ABOUT ME

I am currently living and working as a consultant in Madrid.
My job consists of visiting clients and selling projects to companies around Spain and other nearby states, therefore I travel quite a lot.
I love my job because everyday I can learn something new, everyday it's a challenge you have to fight for.
Working all week long, I don't have much free time during week days but I try to meet people anyway and do as many things as I can!

PHILOSOPHY

Every moment in life, positive or negative, deserves to be lived because it's a step towards the future (which can be better).
Losing today is also valuable because it will allow us to win tomorrow!
Also it's important to fight for what you desire: the first thing you always need to achieve your goals is a strong will!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfer in many countries but mostly I have hosted when I was living in Madrid. I have always found myself very comfortable, never had problems and always made new good friends!
Not all my experiences are recorded as references because sometimes people forgot to give me feedback (sometimes I also forget but you can remind me about it :P )

Interests

Of course I enjoy passing time with my friends, just as much as meeting new people, especially foreigners who have many stories to tell.
I love travelling: recently I'm more interested in long-term journeys than in weekend trips, which means that I move to a new place whenever I have the chance.
I like Architecture for how it shapes our lives even without us noticing it.
I like photography for how it can make moments eternal.
I love learning new languages, as I believe good communication skills are the best tools we can have.
My favorite sport is absolutely capoeira. Well, it is much more than a sport: it's a lifestyle!! Its story, the music, the singing, the movements...
As you understood already, I generally love art, in many of its shapes!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like cinema a lot and it's almost impossible for me to choose a movie as my favorite...
About books: Oscar Wilde! Enough said!
Music: Rock, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Electro, Ska, Reggae.. I tend to like specific songs more than entire genres, artists or albums.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living and studying for one year in Brazil.
Trekking to Machu Picchu, Perù.
Doing downhill on the Death Road in La Paz, Bolivia.
Hitchhiking through Japan to finally reach Mount Fuji.
Teaching in an ex-lepers colony how to make bricks out of clay for building new houses in the suburbs of Dakar, Senegal.
Working as a photographer in Dominican Republic.
Watching Picasso's Guernica in Madrid.
Sleeping in the desert in Morocco.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Capoeira. I'm actually eager to learn many things.. From new languages to handcrafts!
