Über mich
Hey I'm Steward. Welcome to my profile!
Conversation is like playing ping-pong, hit the ball back and forth keep it playing, instead of smashing it for your own sake of victory.
-- background --
I was born in 1996, now living at the capital city Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Basically, I am a music person - I can sing and play piano to accompany myself, been writing songs since I was 14. I do often receive some FAQ about my job because people are interested how music career or singing works normally, BUT I don't feel annoying at all, I'm totally comfortable to share if I have the answers.
-- personality, the strong ones --
I love to be honest and straightforward; truth hurts but better than sweet lies. Keeping promise and being on time and polite is a manner that I'm still practicing now. Oh! I'm a very optimistic and brave person mostly, I think it helps me to prevent feeling regrets. As an extrovert, I absolutely LOVE to hang-out with introverts or shy persons because I love to hear them out, I want them to be seen (trust me, most of the introverts are incredibly smart, it scares me sometimes)! I express my gratitude through writing letters and warm hugs, even though my love language is words of affirmations.
-- personality, the weak ones --
Except greetings or short replies, I don't enjoy talking during the morning because my 'system' needs some time operate, it might end up having a straight face without any bad intention. Feel annoying or pissed (inside) if someone don't really have a strong common sense or rude. Last but not least - I'm a slow thinker; the brain just doesn't work like a computer speed.
-- beliefs --
Christianity.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I decided to join Couchsurfing on Jan 2025 because I wanted to experience local living. For your information, I found out the extremely delightful moments are always the local small things and permanent culture, instead of the tourists' spots. In layman term - the things from that country that can't be Google about.
Perhaps the best way to fulfill this dream would be travelling to a country making new friends. I think it's a fun for me to spend time with the host, observe his lifestyle and develop a meaningful friendship. It's like, I'm a temporary (or long-lost) housemate who is excited to see him again!
Interessen
Something more about the interests:
— Unlocked how to cook French Style Buttermilk Chicken recently, next goal would be steak!
— Writing letters and postcards is a tradition that I still keep for 10 years. Basically just love to see people's expressions when they receive the letter from my longhand.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Write an entire album myself during the pandemic, release it on streaming platforms the next year.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I would be gladly to teach you singing and help you find out your pitch listening skill!
Learing and sharing wise - I would love to have my pajamas on, sit down with you, a can or a glass of alcohol, to hear you talk about your travelling experience, takeaways, impact, future, desire.
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
Two things:
1) If you are working on weekdays, either you can choose to wake up with the breakfast ready or come home with the prepared dinner.
2) Write you a long-ass handwritten letter, slip it to the envelope with a photo of us and an ornament which represent us before I leave.
