Hey I'm Stewart.

I am originally from Aberdeen in Scotland but have been living in Canada since October 2015. I moved to Canada to experience living in a different country and to meet new, interesting people from all over the world.

I have been in Whistler since I arrived, where I have learned to snowboard on arguably the best mountain resort in the world and that's an experience I will never forget. As well as snowboarding I have enjoyed other outdoor activities like hikes and bike rides. I'm a sporty guy so I like to do anything outdoor and physical.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people with interests the same and different as my own. If I can learn something new from an experience it would be a success in my eyes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very eclectic range of music tastes from 60s Rock n Roll to 90s Gangsta Rap and psychedelic rock.

I'm love watching movies. I have so many that I have watched too many times to count so its hard to pick a favourite.

Most recent favourite books are probably 'A Song of Ice & Fire' series from George RR Martin. Love the TV show too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think leaving a steady job and all your friends and family to come to another country to work and travel is pretty amazing.
