To travel the planet and learn as much as possible about the world we live in. I love to meet new people from different areas and backgrounds.

ABOUT ME

I'm a rock n' roll roadie for several different bands and have the privilege of getting paid to travel the world. I consider myself a professional vagabond. I'm a huge promoter of locally produced products and really enjoy checking out quirky little shops, restaurants and breweries. I also love nature and anything outdoors.

PHILOSOPHY

We are only here for so long. I will work hard for what I want and be fair and kind to others along the way. When I am gone I hope that I leave behind a badass library and the trees that I have planted continue to grow. My main wish is that someone goes through my personal effects and decides to see the world and make it a better place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to meet new people from CS while I travel for work. It gives me a way to hang with the locals on my time off and really get to know a place better.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my couchsurfing experience has been with friends from places other than CS, although some of them have now joined us on this mission. I have met a lot of very cool people from here on my travels for work. It gives me a great way to get advice and meet local people in a new city on my days off. If I ever get home for an extended period of time I would love to host people.

兴趣

I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I love hiking, backpacking, camping, fishing, gardening and disc golf. When I'm stuck indoors I prefer to read, play pool, watch movies or listen to music.

I'm a total guy when it comes to movies. I like comedy, but I will take some guns and girls with it.
I listen to a lot of different music, especially live. I would say that I am mostly a rock and punk fan.
I read a lot and mostly non-fiction. I like history, travel essays, social studies and environmental issues.

The most amazing and one of the craziest things I've done is getting stoned then packing my own parachute and jumping out of an airplane. I'm glad I'm still here.

I travel for a living so I can recommend different hotels, restaurants, music venues, bars, parks, laundry services, coffee shops, etc. I've been to dozens of breweries across the United States and Canada and will gladly recommend a beer. I love outdoor activities and enjoy sharing stories and advice on backpacking, gardening, fishing and foraging.
