ABOUT ME
Hello couch surfers!
I'm a 24 year old Swedish girl from a suburb just outside of Gothenburg, on this northern country's beautiful west coast.
I got obsessed with traveling at an early age as my parents had a habit of packing me and my brother and sister into our Volvo every summer and driving us through most of Europe. Never been on any really long (time-wise) adventures though, but plan on changing that this spring as me and two friends are setting course for New Zealand and Australia for 140 days or so.
I'm a bit of a geek (and proud!), as you can see in my interests-section. As such Iknow I can come across as a little shy at times, but not to worry. As a bit of a contrast I'm also pretty athletic and enjoy being outside, playing sports, hiking... Longboarding is my current no 1 obsession in that category. The occasional nightclub is definitely a passion as well.
Sometimes I write things at www.soulcandy.se, and I'm also on Facebook (of course). Feel free to spy :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Sci-fi, fantasy, or anything geeky. I also have a weak spot for corny teen slashers and high school movies. At times more pretentious stuff... and I love going to the cinema.
Books: Special Topics in Calamity Physics is a favorite. Or anything Neil Gaiman wrote. And HP Lovecraft of course...
Music: Indie, Britpop, New Romantic. Some of my favorite bands are The Cure, The Libertines, Placebo and a bunch of Swedish ones you've probably never heard of if you haven't had the benefit of being born in miraculous Scandinavia. For dancing I'm all about electro!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My top three so far:
1. Great barrier reef
2. Alps covered in newly-fallen snow
3. Takeshita-dori in Tokyo
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty good with a crochet hook. Need a wool cap?
