One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Northern Thai hilltribe woman breastfeeding my stuffed bunny was by far the funniest thing i've ever experienced. Besides that, a yearly trip to burning man which is always simply amazing and beyond words.

If you're on a beach somewhere. and you keep getting really itchy bites that are all red and last for days but you don't think it's the mosquitos.. it might be sand flies. These little guys are usually really small, smaller than a freckle, and you can't feel them biting you. Generally, you don't get itchy until hours later. Consider it. File this one away, it may one day come in handy. The only thing to do is to stay off the sand. Sounds obvious, but i spent 2 months being itchy thinking it was mosquitos before someone told me about the sandflies.
