About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I strive to be a better person. People matter.Friends matter. Being the most social creature I can possibly be is my life mission at the moment. I want to be the most annoyingly positive person in the world.
ABOUT ME
I suffer from anatidaephobia. I would respectfully ask that you don`t bring any ducks into my home, or mention anything about Ducks in general. Thank you.
I travel a lot,
I follow the path of esotericism wherever it may take may next.
¨I was part of that strange race of people aptly described as spending their lives doing things they detest, to make money they don't want, to buy things they don't need, to impress people they don't like.¨
- Emile Gauvreau
PHILOSOPHY
¨To live fully, we must learn to use things and love people, and not love things and use people.¨
- John Powell
¨Our economy is based on spending billions to persuade people that happiness is buying things, and then insisting that the only way to have a viable economy is to make things for people to buy so theyâll have jobs and get enough money to buy things.¨
- Philip Slater
I am learning about sustainable living, I want to grow my own food, and live off the grid with renewable energy.
I believe that at the current rate of pollution and exhaustion of natural resources, fish, animals, trees, nuclear waste spreading in the pacific - there will be little left to protect in 50 years.
I believe in embracing the moment. Dwelling on the future or in the past is not the way to live. Buddhism is the only religion that has got things right.
I am currently learning about Freeganism
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love connecting with people, finding common ground, having deep discussion, and getting new perspectives on interesting topics.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The closest i ever got to couchsurfing before joining here was when i was travelling in Jordan, and a random guy came up to me at a bus-stop. He told me i had beautiful blue eyes...and that I should come stay with him and his family in their village...and i did.
I think there is a lot to gain from couchsurfing experiences, not just a free bed. Meeting locals will add so much to the whole travelling experience. In my experience people who are active in couchsurfing are really social and great people.
I appreciate for my surfers to make a little effort to give back , maybe make some food from your country, bring a small gift, teach me something special about your culture.
I have seen lately surfers don`t really make any effort. Incredibly a girl I recently hosted(August 2019) complained in the reference that I did`nt feed her enough of my food!! (she never cooked,or gave anything back, and I gave her my beer, fed her breakfast 2 mornings in a row, and gave her coffe(but not enough aparently)).
