About Me

--- CAN'T HOST AROUND CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR ---

TO PEOPLE LOOKING FOR A HOST: I get quite a lot of couch requests here in Berlin, much more than I can host. So if you want me to host you, show me a bit of who you are by filling out your profile, explaining what your trip is about and perhaps also saying why you chose me as a host. And very important, I normally do not decide on couch requests more than a week in advance, so no use sending couch requests for the far future.

ABOUT ME

Hoi! I'm a 27 years old former student currently figuring out what to with my life after graduation and meanwhile taking it easy in Berlin.

I'm not really fond of presenting myself on internet profiles, so if you really want to know more about me, surf my couch. But I'll give it a try:

As good as I am in orienting myself in space and not getting lost, my time management is terrible and many of my days are spent extremely unproductive. The problem is that just listining to music while thinking of all possible subjects is a pastime I can persue for hours.

However, I can be active as well, at least when I've had breakfast and tea - the backbones of my existence. Without them, I cannot function properly. In such active phases I like hanging out with my friends, especially cooking with them and having long conversations. I also like travelling. When I stay too long in the same place, I become restless. It's also one of the reasons I left Netherlands to go study in several different European cities and now have a hard time deciding where I want to live.

PHILOSOPHY

Abwarten und Tee trinken......

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and surf. It's what couchsurfers generally do.
I like the fact that couchsurfing is all about trusting people you do not know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first couchsurfer I hosted became my first flatmate for more than 2 months.

I know a lot of useless facts if anyone is interested in them....

And I want to learn danish.
