ABOUT ME

I'm a little bit chaotic (I tend to forget or lose things), but spontaneous, funny, friendly, I love to talk and tell stories - you can call me anything but boring :)
I love hanging out just talking and philosophizing about everything, no matter if it's god & the universe or nerdy things like Star Wars/Lord of the Rings as much as joking around and having fun, partying and dancing until the sun rises, exploring the world, or enjoying culture such as going to see temples, museums, exhibitions...

PHILOSOPHY

Past is history, future is a mystery, present is a gift! We all should stop worrying so much about things you can't change anymore or about things that haven't happened yet. Everything you have is the moment - enjoy it as much as you can. And when it's over, don't be sad that it's gone - look forward to your next adventure. Do what you love, what makes you happy & what your heart tells you - and not what the others expect from you.
And: Treat everybody like you want to be treated - everything's coming back to you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I don't have an apartment on my own anymore, because I'm saving for my next looong trip :( But as soon as I have my bungalow in paradise, I offer a couch!

Just started, I don't have experience yet..

Besides the beauty of the nature, especially the ocean - besides travelling, diving, djungle trekking, getting in touch with people from all over the world, experiencing adventures, animals? - Hmm... I think reading, writing, seeing old and new friends, always looking forward to new adventures, making new plans and trust the universe, that it cares for me and that everything will work out for the best:)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1. Diving with whalesharks in the Philippines... it was a bunch of them, biggest one about 10 meters. I was kneeling on the sandy ground, I looked up - and there it was, floating 2 meters above me, surrounded by a halo of the zentih angle of the sun. It was so gracious and gentle and impressive...
2. Trekking in the Djungle of Sumatra and seeing wild Orang Utans. All of a sudden they came, out of the sky-high trees - big old males, mommys with babies on the back.. close enough that we could almost touch them... I felt blessed to see them - there are so little left.
3. Rushing with a boat across the ocean between Gili Islands and Lombok - I was sitting in the very front and it felt like flying, right into the sun, with the mountains of Lombok in the background. It felt like freedom - the first time, that I finally learnt to appreciate the very moment.
