ABOUT ME

After many years of being a nomad, I got my nursing degree and work at a great community health clinic in D.C. I've only been here for a few months so I'm still learning my job, getting to know the area, and constantly looking for another adventure! I spent many years working seasonal jobs in Alaska, traveling during the winter, and I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in possibly hosting people but I have to run it by my roommates. I would like to meet other Couchsurfers in the city and meet up with guests for drinks or dinner.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fantastic! I've only met a few people through CS so far but it's been a great experience!

Interessen

Surfing, hiking, camping, swimming, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, reading, traveling, learning, and lots of other stuff. I'm not so good at some of these things. I want to learn rock climbing, kite surfing, wind surfing, and probably lots of other things I'm not thinking of right now. And most recently... I want to train for a triathalon!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I am easily amused by movies. I mostly pick out comedys but enjoy most types of movies (I just don't like to cry!). I listen to EVERY type of music... country, rap, salsa, reggaetone!!! You name it, I'm listening to it. I devour books and it's hard for me to remember which ones I've read but I like to learn things...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

This is hard... I was in the Peace Corps in Ecuador and that was a fantastic opportunity. I also hiked Machu Picchu and it was one of the most amazing things I have done.
