About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn, and experience.

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty sure I know a lot less about myself than I think I do, so "all about me" ... it might be in danger of inaccuracy if I were make an attempt to explain too extensively. But, on the surface.. The natural world is something I'm constantly entranced by. I have a pretty terrible case of wanderlust. I have a love of the simple. I am very passionate about music - making it and hearing it.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that one's worst enemy can easily be their ego. Humility is healthy. I think that travel, and experience through travel, very much widen the scope through which you view the world, and that's a great thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

There is so much music, it's hard to even know where to start. I'm not really a country fan. other than that... Books - A reasonable Life (Mate), Lies my Teacher Told Me (Loewen), Culture Jam (Lasn), Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (Brown), Indian Givers (Weatherford), Henry David Thoreau, Emmerson,Movies - Fight Club, Shawshenk Redemption, The Count of Monte Cristo, I heart Huckabees, American History X.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Made a record with GGGarth Richardson at his ranch outside of the Gibsons, BC.

Teach, Learn, Share

Music is probably one of my favorite things to talk about, and interact around. I'm a sort of jack of all trades type of musician, so playing with, or just talking music with just about anyone is awesome. I've spent years traveling in the states, and otherwise, so that's fun to share. I like to brew beer. I like to grow things. I love riding bikes, always. I have bikes to lend if you're wanting to get around, if it's warm and/or you're up for the weather. I love being creative. I want to learn how to cook (well). I want to learn languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

This is a hard question. It's hard to know what you can share and connect on, until you meet someone. But I think on a general level, I love talking about traveling experiences, and culture. If I'm being hosted, I'm always willing to help out with anything that needs to be done, generally.
