Sobre Mim
I'm from Croatia, a country considered to be a part of both Central and Southeastern Europe.
The region where I live in (Lika-Senj) is the biggest (10%) and the least populated one (1%) in Croatia. Except for Plitvice Lakes, it's not nearly as popular as the Croatian coast, but it has many beautiful places of interest and remarkable diversity compared to the rest of the country. In winter there's lots of snow and low temperatures (sometimes even - 20 Celsius), while in summer during the day it's hot (28-38 Celsius) and perfect for swimming and at night you can sleep in perfect conditions (temperature goes down to 15-18 Celsius). This short video depicts it perfectly:

* keep in mind that there is no public transport available between Plitvice Lakes (or nearest town Korenica) and Gospić, the only option is hitchiking (40 minutes drive from Korenica).
Regarding myself, besides traveling I also like sports, music concerts/festivals and computers (basically everything connected to technology). Being a fan of Arsenal (football club) has taken me across many European countries.
Due to my daily obligations, I'm more likely to be able to host over the weekends.
Por que estou no Couchsurfing?
For me, traveling is primarily about getting to know local people, their habits and way of life. Hanging out with them in their own backyard or favourite bar, watching how they prepare their national dishes, what aperitive they drink before a meal, figuring out how their social circles work, what makes their life bitter and/or sweet from socio-political viewpoint, what customs and superstitions do they have etc.
I'll say that you can always book a hostel and google Eiffel Tower or Niagara Falls without ever going there, but getting an insight into the life of a certain Mohamed in rural Iran or Tamara at Georgia's Black Sea coastal village... That takes an enourmous effort and many circumstances to align together at the same time, which often aren't under our influence.
Even when you meet such people, there's a chance you'll never see them again, so why waste precious time on anything else other than sharing experiences and getting to know each other?! Let's talk about our favourite scents, flaws, fears and insecurities...
These experiences are those which enrich and shape our lives, change our perspective in a positive way and make us a better human. People pushing each other in a crowded place for that perfect insta-picture just so they can say they've been there... That's not a life-altering event!
In that regard, I consider each trip as an upgrade to the person's state of mind. It's an indescribable feeling every time you experience something like that.
Although, going to places and seeing all the remarkable landmarks (natural or man-made) is a huge addition to that, but not a primary one.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros
I'm into many kinds of music, so I could just list some of the musicians I like in all of those genres, like Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, CAS, Dream Theater, Bonobo, Damien Rice, Larkin Poe, Tommy Guerrero, Fat Freddy's Drop, etc.
I prefer TV shows to movies, some of those include The Wire, Person of Interest and others.
Regarding books, The Witcher series by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski is my favourite one.
Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz
There's plenty of them, but seeing Mississippi in person and hiking on Caucasus Mountains (Kazbegi) in Georgia are some of the most memorable ones.
O Que Posso Compartilhar com Anfitriões
I can offer a place to stay, food and (when possible) time for sightseeing and hanging out.
