My name is Stjepan, friends call me stjep or stipe. On one of my passport its written I am german, on another I am croatian. I consider myself first of all a cosmopolitan.

After five years traveling around the globe I am looking forward to come back to Colombia, settle down for a while and become a host.

The only measurement of success is happiness!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing had big impact on my travels. It is finally a page which deserves to be called a "social platform". Its about meeting people, culture excange, inspire and get inspired.

Interests

I simply love to be in the nature doing long walks, watching, relaxing.
I appreciate meeting new people and share my story with theirs. I like outdoor activities and mostly I am up for something spontaneous.
I enjoy good talks for example during the day by a delicious cup of coffee/tea.
I like doing all kind of sports, specially ball sports and most of all football.
I go to the cinema regularly prefer watching Independent movies with a good story. I am quite a bookworm reading mostly novels or essays, biographies.

Depence of the situation I like to listen to almost all kind of music genre. Jazz, soul, funk, latin, fok music, hip hop, reggae, ska and lately electro. I appreciate bands who are able to combine different kind of genres into one very individual style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- On a full moon night on a mexican island i woke up by the new born turtles who tried to climb over me on theyr wise way to the ocean. Hundreds of them, all over the beach. Goosbumbs memory!
