About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see everything that needs to be seen

ABOUT ME

I am a Biochemistry Major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am studying abroad in Heidelberg, Germany for the semester.

PHILOSOPHY

Playfulness is awesome. There is a time for being serious, but when it's not that time, I like to enjoy myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to see new places and meet new people and experience the culture associated with both, whether that be by going to new countries or meeting and getting to know people in Heidelberg.

Interests

I enjoy almost all sports, particularly soccer. I love to both play and watch soccer, especially the English Premier League. I love to be outside; climbing, hiking, backpacking and camping all are great things in my book. I think reading, traveling and learning are all important and I enjoy trying new things. I play the viola in my university's symphony orchestra, which can be a nice break from all the science classes that I normally take.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide variety of music, although I my favorite things to listen to range from classical music (I really like Bach) to bands such as the Dave Matthew's Band, Live and Matchbox 20. I like when music can paint a story without depending on words.

I try to read a lot of different things, anything from fantasy to biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite place is Yosemite National Park. I love to hike, climb, swim, nap, etc there. My favorite hike I've done there went from Tanya Lake to Cloud's Rest and then to the top of Half Dome and finally ending in the valley. It was such an amazing trip with so much to see.
