"Hammock surfing"

ABOUT ME

Actually I am very interested in couchsurfing as a possibility of cultural and even artistic exchange. I can explain better. I am doing my PHD about the relations between lazyness/sloth and Brazilian imagery from the XVIth century to contemporary culture.

In my house there is a double bed and a hammock. After hosting two foreigners, I realized how the use of a hammock as place for sleeping is even day uncommon to non-Brazilian people.

In this sense, I am super interested in hosting non-Brazilians that never slept in a hammock before and that could contribute to my thesis and reflections being hosted and experiencing it in Rio de Janeiro.

As a counterpart of the hosting, I gently ask for the "hammmock surfers" to write a report about this new experience to their body, their sleep and their lifes.
