About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn the Gambian culture, and to impart as much possible knowledge to my students as possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm an Information / Communication Technology (ICT) Volunteer with the Peace Corps in The Gambia, West Africa. I live in Bakau, a small town outside the capital of Banjul, and teach at the Gambia Technical Training Institute, and work with the government on one of their national projects. I was a software developer in Vermont, USA for five years before coming out here to Africa.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't want any regrets. We all die, it's just a question of when and how. Life's meant to be lived, not shied away from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked around Europe with a college buddy of mine for three weeks, through France, Italy, and Greece. And, of course, this whole living-in-Africa thing still seems pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about the Gambian culture, and a bit about Wolof, one of the common tribal languages spoken here. That's all I have any interest in teaching about, anyway.
