ABOUT ME

I'm one of those who still haven't found what they're looking for, sometimes tired but keep searching.

PHILOSOPHY

There is this fisherman on this beautiful island somewhere in the South Pacific. He is taking things pretty easy, getting up late, fishing everyday just enough to support his family but still has time to spend with them, what he enjoys a lot. One day, a western vacationist approaches him:
"Hey man, I've been watching you a few days now and can't understand why you don't go for some more! If you worked harder, got up earlier and stuff, you could sell more fish and make easily way more money!"
The fisherman replies "Seriously? And then what?"
"Well, after a while, you could buy another boat, get employees, start a business."
"And then what?"
"Let your business grow, get more boats, more employees and more money!"
"And then what?"
"If you do everything right, having made enough money, you can retire one day."
"And then what?"
"Then you can afford to take things easy, get up late, just fish a little bit and spend lots of time with your family."

I am like the fisherman, doing what I really wanna do trying to avoid the detours to feed a system I don't support. Life is to short to go the long way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, host and spread the word. While surfing, I try to make my hosts happy. If you like to talk a lot and/or to try German cuisine, you definitely should host me!
Recently I moved in my own place and started hosting as well. Here I try to make my guests happy. If you're able to pamper me and some of my friends with exotic food, you are very likely to get hosted by me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed extensively around the world and recently I became able to host as well. Occasionally I attended local meetings or events, but I prefer the individual encounters.
