I’m a Colorado Mountain boy who is currently working in natural construction and coming from a background in Biodynamic farming, Waldorf School educating & traveling.

I grew up a little different in an intentional community and have sought to connect, share, and learn with others my whole life. I really believe and trust in the way the life unfolds and am working to balance being in the receptive flow of occurrences and circumstance and the activation of initiative to make things happen! Every time I travel and step into a new culture it is eye opening and humbling to be an outsider and need to ask (in less than perfect grammar) for help or directions. I love the ideal of this community that can really provide a space to connect with others and weave a global family.

My girlfriend and I had a baby girl in 2019 and so we are having a little new family experience and want to stay connected and vibrant with travelers and community. If you are an easy going traveler who enjoys wholesome and hearty conversation and experience we think you will have a fun visit!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to connect with locals where I travel, get the real sense for a place, bolster the social sphere and our interpersonal connections, learn from others, save money, connect with synchronicities and the possibilities that happen when we are awake, open, honest & grateful!

Often when I travel at some point I feel the vastness of the human life on earth. I gain just a bit of a wider view into the truth- that there are millions and millions of other individuals, souls, unique beings just like me here. When I really feel that it gives me both a sense of smallness and of hope and excitement to do all that I can to meet as many other bright, open, hopeful and honest people this lifetime as possible.

Random Rab, Blue Scholars, Gregory Alan IsakovThunder Body.... too much to name & depends on my soul mood. Same with movies. I love to read some sci & fantasy novels by authors including JRR Tolkien, Orson Scott Card, Starhawk, A.A Attanasio. Stories are transforming and give us powerful imaginations to be creative feel the beauty and truth of the universe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach somethings about gardening, soils, animals, astronomy and astrology, general construction and working with tools, as well as some nice cursive writing and poetry! My girlfriend and I can share great home made meals made with good local ingredients.

I/Welook forward to learning more languages, how to play more instruments, more about education, natural construction, different exercise practices & baking! It would be great to practice Spanish and German and other languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enthusiasm and interest in life and nature, handyman skills to fix things and problem solve, agricultural skills with animals, heavy machinery, gardening, tree pruning etc... I can speak moderate Spanish, rough German, and articulate English :) I offer adaptability, responsibility and attunement to what is needed and helpful (it may be taking out the trash, washing dishes, walking the dog, or cutting firewood!) I really do love doing dishes especially!

In essence though I can share myself, my presence, my sensitivity and curiosity to hear your stories and ambitions, experiences and challenges. I can share friendship and an understanding that we are changing the world as we learn from each other, learn from our shortcomings, and give each other the courage to love ourselves and each other more fully, more consistently.
