ABOUT ME

I explore my own city and and other places that I visit with such spontaneity and excitement that it sometimes ends with what many people would consider disaster: getting lost, stranded, hungry, stuck in the rain or many other situations. I on the other hand, would consider any of those situations to be the best possible ending since it opens the door to another adventure, getting home! People might say I'm outgoing but I would consider myself a bit shy. Going outside of my comfort zone makes me nervous but I force myself to do it almost every day because I know that it usually makes life a lot more fun.

PHILOSOPHY

I love to talk about the cultural differences between myself and others and my favorite moments in those types of conversations are when I realize that, while customs, traditions and lifestyles can be so vastly different, almost everybody has the same core values and beliefs about friendship, hope, fear, love and many other important aspects of life. While various cultures express emotions very differently, it quickly becomes obvious that we all experience the same ones.

I am living in Puerto Rico for the year and I am always looking for people to explore the island with. If you are living here or just visiting, please reach out either for a place to stay or a buddy to go exploring with. I can't call myself a "tour guide" because I haven't been here very long and my Spanish is not very good. But I can be a wannabe tour guide meaning that whatever adventure we embark on will unpredictable, maybe a little stressful and a good memory in the end!

I spend a lot of time exploring as many natural wonders as I can through hiking, biking, skiing, canoeing and windsurfing and I will never say no to an adrenaline rush! I want to meet people with all types of personalities whether they are shy or outgoing. Having a beer in a beautiful place that is not easy to get to is unbeatable.

At any given time my favorite movies are usually Apollo 13 and the last movie that I've seen.

I built a robot that could tie a shoe. I'm proud of it because it's a beautiful piece of automation equipment but it won't put anybody out of a job either!
