ABOUT ME
It's never been easy for me to describe myself, but I'll give it a shot. I'm generally pretty laid back and quite, but I can have pretty lively conversations and laugh a bit when the mood strikes me. I grew up in the countryside, where I could walk out my back door into the forest and mountains. The space and freedom this provided me still has a big impact on how I like to live my life. I like cities and feel comfortable in them, but I'm not an urbanite. A lot of my interests reflect that. When traveling I like to make an effort to see both the countryside and the cities.
I'm studying photography the University of New Mexico, but it's all ready the fourth university I've attended and I'll be adding another one this spring with a study abroad program in Xian, China. Photography offers so many possibilities and directions to take, which I think is one of the major reasons I like it, and one of the most important directions to me is its ability to affect social change.
PHILOSOPHY
As Backyard Tire Fire says "You know, something tells me that tomorrow ain't going to keep coming around for ever. I'm gonna take every last one of them I can get."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'm participating by surfing. When I started I attended a lot of the potlucks in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. When I return home I intend to begin hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been going to the monthly cs potlucks in Albuquerque and some of the Santa Fe potlucks as well since last winter. Now I'm traveling across Europe and into Asia and I'm starting to get a taste of surfing. It's great meeting all these new people.
