ABOUT ME

Tall, very tall. Easy going, fun, adventurous. I love exploring new places, trying new foods, hearing incredible stories of travel or adventures.

I really enjoy getting outside and being active. Everything from climbing, to kayaking to mountain biking. When I'm not outside you can find me curled up with a bowl of chili, researching how to garden, reading a murder mystery, fostering kittens or dreaming up my next adventure.

My most recent adventure was a Calgary to Vancouver bicycle tour with a good friend of mine - it was about 1,300 km of mountains and incredible countryside. We camped and stayed with Warmshowers (the bicycle touring equivalent of Couchsurfing) hosts along the way. The generosity of people in the world never ceases to amaze me.

In a few weeks I'll be bicycling touring the Alps :)

I can teach outdoor skills, I'd love to learn cooking or gardening skills and I can share my perspective on the world and would love a good conversation to go from there.
