Overview
About Me
I have recently upgraded from living out of my backpack with the purchase of a Van to travel around Australia.
I am always on the lookout for fun in whatever random places that takes me. The last few years have been a non-stop adventure exploring right up the east coast of Australia, from Tassie to Far North Queensland, hoping over to NZ for bungee shots and hiking at Milford Sound and returning to Burning Seed the annual Burning Man Australia gathering.
I am especially looking forward to Summer, my favorite ridiculous hobby is rollerskating everywhere including skateparks!

PHILOSOPHY
Yes Lets! Try everything twice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been apart of a share house that hosts surfers and I totally blame their amazing stories of adventure for my renewed love of travel!
Before signing up to CS myself I was introduced to the idea from a new housemate Amy. While living in Canberra our household hosted many different couchsurfers via her profile.
This experience opened my eyes, before this I had a very conventional idea about travel and accommodation, but now I've learnt people and their stories make our adventures so much more! Hosting was lots of fun and I look forward to the opportunity of hosting again, if I ever stop traveling..

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to love watching travel shows, but now I'm usually to busy travelling to keep up with regular TV.
When I do get some screen time I have been 'attempting' to watch every episode of Doctor Who from the begininng back in the 60's.. I have so far watched all the original black and white episodes and have recently made it to the colour episodes in the 70's with Jon Pertwee playing the third doctor. This silly idea is going to take forever..!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one thing..? Standing on the beach in Cairns with thousands of people while watching the sun disappear during the total solar eclipse, breathtaking!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a sponge, I like to absorb all kinds of useless knowledge/talents and pass this on for the benefits of others!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories of adventure are a fun currency to trade in the world of travel.
