About Me
CURRENT MISSION
you can fool with your brother, but don't mess with a missionary man.~Annie Lennox, We're on a mission from god~Joliet Jake Blues
ABOUT ME
I prefer if you feel you have to resort to calling me stuff, you call me *$toph. So pertinent stuff about me, let's see: My main squeeze and I live in Pā'ia, where her auntie, momz, and our hanai daughter stay. Pā'ia means loud, and they mean it. While we are a few minutes and a couple hundred feet elevated from the beach, staying on the edge of this old plantation town which received its infamous character from its motley assortment of characters: we can still hear the waves crash and see some stars at night. And I'm not just talking about Willie Nelson (whose bar is one of the main nightlife spots in town), or neighbor Owen Wilson, and the wandering celebrity sightings (my favorite: walking past Danny Devito on the street). You're close to downtown and the airport (where I werk), but you're also on the highway to Hana that winds through the rain forest jungles. Close to one of the world's greatest health food stores and a bunch of other shops and eateries.
I think I'm over maybe selling it, I don't want everybody and anybody trying to surf here who's just looking to crash the paradise lost party. We have plenty of that already just with extended Ohana drama (our couches fill up regularly depending who's over). We have busy lives and much work to afford the ridiculous cost of subsisting here. Not necessarily going to have a lot of time for you, so I'd prefer if you're bringing something to the table. However if you're comfortable plugging yourself in and flexible and independent enough not to overly disrupt things (NO UNINVITED GUESTS, NO EXCESSIVE PARTYING, RESPECT)... We'll share space and knowledge, break bread, spread aloha.
