ABOUT ME

I'm primarily a runner. I run nearly everyday. I ran cross country and distance track for St. Olaf College, specializing in the steeplechase.

I enjoy good books, and good music...anything that exudes passion. I also love to drink beer!

I someday hope to bike along the Mediterranean from Portugal to Italy, and only then visit the remaining countries in Europe.

I also hope to sail from Chicago to Mackinac Island sometime soon. First I have to buy a sailboat...

I've majored in Mathematics and Philosophy and currently use neither in my current occupation. Instead I strive to be an entrepreneur, or travel the great outdoors in the United States.

As of 2/26/2013 my German Shorthaired Pointer puppy is one year old! He is very energetic and friendly. He loves to run and cuddle. I hope you can come meet him!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am open to host any surfers at almost any time. I hope to travel and surf some couches in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend and I attended the North American Handmade Bike Show in Richmond, VA, USA. We surfed with a group of co-eds, and were free to explore the city and all the history it has to offer.

Intereses

I enjoy running, biking, sailing, photography, philosophy, beer, nordic skiing and music.

I usually have some sort of fanatical passion at any given time, though this obsession could change at any given moment. In the past, I've been obsessed with running (I still am), Albert Camus, growing grapes for wine, and putting together a sound system, brewing beer, nordic skiing. I'm currently fascinated with building bikes. Unfortunately, this is an expensive hobby..

If you like to brew beer or would like to know how, I'd love to brew with you or show you how I do it! It's easier than you'd think and so much fun! Even more importantly, it's incredibly fulfilling to drink a delicious beer which I've made myself!
